Q How do you ship my order? Do you ship outside the continental USA?
A We ship via Post Office by Priority Mail and United Parcel Service. Packages to P.O. boxes will be sent via US mail. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or outside continental U.S.

Q When can I expect my order?
A Most orders are shipped within 24 hours. We will notify you by e-mail when your order has been shipped and when you can expect the order to arrive.

Q What if my merchandise arrives damaged?
A We pack your order with care and naturally expect that it reaches you intact. If anything arrives damaged, call us at 212-242-7014.

Q I am concerned about environmental waste. What can I do with the packing material I receive in my order?
A Sunrise Lane cares about the environment. Your order is packed exclusively with biodegradable loose-fill. This material is starch based and non-toxic. It is reusable and compostable in your own backyard.

Q What is your policy on privacy issues?
A Rest assured, we do not sell or rent our mailing list. We use your e-mail address and your phone number to contact you about your order. We will send you e-mails from time to time to announce in-house promotions but we will be glad to remove you from this list upon request.

Q Are your products child friendly?
A Yes, our products are child friendly. As the problem of children with allergies is on the rise, we suggest parents start by creating a safe home environment by using non-toxic home cleaners. All our laundry products are gentle enough for baby's delicate skin. Children's toys often need to be washed so doesn't it make sense to protect them by using the mildest cleaners available? We also believe children should be taught how to respect animal life. We sell The Smart Mouse Trap which captures mice but allows you to release them in the outdoors unharmed.

Q I am allergic to some ingredients. Where can I find what's in a product?
A The ingredient list is found in Urban Greenista, the Companion Guide to Sunrise Lane. On the site menu, click on the Urban Greenista tab and then click on the link provided. Once there, select What's in Our Stuff?

Q Can I order by phone?

Q Your website indicates you deliver for free in Manhattan with minimum order of $25 but my order invoice includes shipping costs. How can I be sure I am not being charged for shipping?
A We calculate your order manually and do not include shipping costs. We will send you an adjusted invoice and contact you to arrange delivery.

Q I have caught mice successfully with The Smart Mouse Trap but it's not catching the mouse I now have in my home. What do you suggest?
A Some mice are very wary about going into the trap so we’ve found that trailing something into the trap - nuts or seeds - works well. Put a small amount outside the trap to lead them in. Another suggestion: try a different food bait. This mouse may not be attracted to peanut butter. If you know what the mouse is eating now (bird seed, cereal, dog food, etc.), use it as bait in the trap.
